Whoville

It was absolutely wonderful seeing my friend, Ms. Pizza last night. (She's actually a gluten free vegan so pizza would never be on her diet but we call her that anyway.) She showed up with this delightful Dr. Seuss-ian style bouquet:


Let's have a closer look at that green puffy thing. Her co-worker who is quite knowledgeable about these things says it is some kind of mutant carnation. I think they totally rock.


So we all went out and had some vegan food and Jeff ate a burger and it was a lovely, lovely time. Somewhere in there we agreed that she will come over and cook with me for a day so I can learn to make some actual vegan entrees and not just survive on hummus on toast. Maybe I'll learn to make hummus, too. That's a great idea!
