Quinoa. It's what's for dinner.


Yes, National Blog Posting Month, I will not give up. I will regale you with stories of my exciting life, like this vegan dish I just created for dinner tonight. It's a very highbrow recipe. You take two cups of cooked quinoa (use a rice cooker so you don't have to stand over the stove) and dump in one small can of Mexican Lime Cilantro Rotelli, one large can of Petite Diced Tomatoes and use the kitchen shears to snip up some fresh cilantro. It was actually quite tasty and for less than $5, I will probably have enough left over for lunch for the next two days. Now that's a bargain - and I didn't even have to turn on the stove.
