A departure from the norm - in a good way!

We had a thing to go to yesterday, the annual Charity Ball at the lodge. It's a formal affair that's usually fun but not over-the-top fun, if you know what I mean. This year was different. The theme was Brazilian Masquerade and they pulled out all the stops. There were amazingly talented dancers - male and female complete with drummers and they managed to get almost the entire audience participating one way or another. It really took the Ball to a whole new level and I can't imagine anyone topping it. The organizers deserve kudos for a job done spectacularly well. I was hoping to have some pictures to post but Glennzo hasn't sent me any yet. Stay tuned.
